Set-up Instructions : Setting Up

Where any references are made to https://usd.swreg.org in the USD system the equivalent for the GBP system will be https://gbp.swreg.org/... or https://euro.swreg.org/ for the Euro system. These are three different computers and not interconnected.

This is a summary of instructions - come back to it if you get stuck:

  1. Go to https://usd.swreg.org/cgi-bin/admin.pl?vm=Login

  2. Enter login and password

  3. Click the "Create/Edit Products" link

  4. Either click on the Add Program link or if you wish to edit an existing program click on that program name then on the Edit link

  5. Enter values in each field as required. Make sure your product code is letter and numbers only, no spaces. We will add your store number to the beginning of any code you choose - therefore code ABC12345 will become 1313ABC12345 if your store number is 1313. If you upload a graphic image using any Upload Image link (it does not matter which page you are on) you must also enter just the filename name in the Image box

  6. At the bottom of the page enter any program options (variations) and prices. A variation means something like "Single user, 5-user or maybe French version, CD version.

  7. Click on the Edit Delivery Method button for any variation - each variation must have at least one delivery method.

  8. Enter delivery method text in any of the fields available (0 to 9)

  9. If required, click on the Edit Email button for any of the delivery methods (and read the text on the following page carefully) or else click on Save.

  10. Make sure that each of your variations is listed in the pull down menu

  11. When finished click the Publish link and this will make that program LIVE
