Getting Started Guide:
The steps outlined below are from the point where you have signed up for an account and are on the "Account Created" page.
Step 1: Provide Store and Payment Information
- After signing up for an SWREG store, from the "Account Created" page click the "continue" link taking you to the Author Details area
- On the "Accounts" tab complete all the required information
- Click "Save"
- Click the "Payment Method" tab
- Select the payment method you want and provide the necessary information
- Click "Save"
- Click the "Home" breadcrumb in the toolbar taking you to the main SWREG store page
Step 2: Setup Products
- Click "Create/Edit Products" from the main SWREG store page
- Click the "Shop Delivery Methods" button
- Next you will setup all delivery methods for your shop
- Click the "New" button
- Provide a "Delivery Method Name" - this is used internally within your store
- Provide a "Label" - this is what is displayed to the customer
- Enter an "Additional Delivery Price", usually is $0.00
- Select your "Delivery Types"
- 2.9% + $1 rate requires you choose at least one of the following: "Download" or "Key code"
- 0% + $.99 rate requires you choose at least "Download"
- You can select any others you want
- Complete the required fields shown after selecting your "Delivery Types"
- Click "Save"
- Click "Done" taking you to the Shop Delivery Methods List page.
- Repeat the above steps until all your delivery methods are created.
- To note: you can utilize the same delivery method for one, some, or all your products.
- Next you will setup your products by clicking "Products" in the toolbar
- Click the "New Product" button
- Select either "One Variation" or "Multiple Product Variations/Tiers"
- Select the "Presentation" - most common is "Direct to Cart"
- Click "Next"
- Complete all the required fields, and select the delivery method we setup above from the "Delivery Methods" dropdown
- Click "Next"
- Review that everything is correct
- Click "Apply"
- You will see a "Purchase URL," this is the live order URL. You can also place a test order by clicking the "Test Order" button
- Click "Products" in the toolbar taking you to the Product List page
- Repeat the above steps until all your products are created
- Click "Products" in the toolbar taking you to the Product List page
Step 3: Purchase URLs to Link Your Website to the SWREG Cart
- You are still at the Product List page
- Click on the product name (under "Internal Product Name" column) taking you to the Summary Page
- You will see a "Purchase URL", this is a live order URL
- Copy the full URL for each variation you created
- Imbed this URL in the Buy Now button on your side for this product
- Repeat the above steps until all your Buy Now buttons are linked to SWREG
- You are now fully setup and can start taking orders immediately!
